What we do
Studio Entire is a design practice working across architecture, interior architecture, landscape, material strategy, custom elements, and objects. At its core, the practice acts as creative director and integrator, bringing these disciplines together around a unified concept. The work is quiet, tactile, durable, and responsive—grounded in the principles of inhabitation and site context rather than a fixed style.

How we work
We approach every project as a whole, bringing together the forces that shape a place—from site and material to inhabitation and making. Our framework is grounded in thoughtful design and a symbiotic approach to human and ecological health.

Discovery
Site, ecology, climate, local material ecosystem, how you want to live, and an honest conversation about budget and ambition. Through conversations and collaborative exercises, we define the goals and constraints that will guide the design.

Vision
Spatial organization, material strategy, and means of making are developed together as one proposition. Through ongoing dialogue and iteration, we establish a clear design direction that brings the project's ambitions and site context into a coherent whole.

Development
Collaborators, craft, detailing, and technical development. We bring the right people and expertise into the process, developing the design in close collaboration with builders, craftspeople, specialists, and makers.

Making
Construction, execution, and delivery. Where our scope continues through realization, we stay closely involved with the project team to carry the design intent through construction and resolve what emerges on site.

Inhabitation
Use, care, longevity, and adaptation. We consider the life of a project beyond completion, designing spaces and materials to support everyday use, care, and longevity.
Material families we work with
We believe regional and bio-based materials should be the starting point, not the exception. We look for opportunities to shorten supply chains, support local communities, and replace petrochemical and synthetic materials wherever a healthier, lower-impact alternative can perform as well or better. We understand that not every project is straw, earthen, or locally sourced. Sometimes the responsible answer is conventional and sourced elsewhere. The research is what lets us tell the difference.
Earthen
Clay plasters, rammed earth, adobe, earthen floors. Hygroscopic, repairable, deeply tactile, and local almost by definition.
Lime
Lime plasters, renders and washes. Breathable, forgiving, and quietly luminous as the light moves.
Timber
Structural and joinery timber, regionally milled and ecologically grown where possible. Detailed for movement, wear and eventual repair.
Stone
Local quarried stone for thresholds, counters, hearths and paving. Chosen for how it patinates, not how it photographs.
Biogenic Insulation
Straw, hemp, wood fibre and cellulose — carbon-storing assemblies that also make calmer, healthier rooms.
Natural fiber & fiinish
Linen, wool, jute, oils, waxes and mineral paints. Low-emission, long-lived, and pleasant to live beside.
